01 THE PUBLICATION

THE CAMERA
IS PART OF
THE reporting.

Geekchutney is an independent, photo-led music publication founded in India in 2018 and based in Seattle since 2022.

It documents live music through concert and festival reports, artist stories, photography and short films. The focus is not exhaustive coverage. It is being close enough to notice what made a performance, a crowd or a room feel specific.

The current publication grew from Dennis Dey’s Seattle concert photography work, beginning with his first Seattle show in 2022 and expanding across the local scene from there.
